EXPERTISE Pete’s disciplines include retail, office, medical office and mixed use. Pete earned the CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) in San Francisco, CA in 2000. EDUCATION A 1994 Graduate of Wofford College, Pete graduated with a BA in Finance and Art History. After graduating, Pete planned, developed and operated one of South Carolina’s first brewpubs on Main Street in downtown Greenville. He then followed his career path into larger development projects with many in Greenville including Poinsett Corners, the Lofts at Mills Mill, The Fieldhouse in the West End, the Greenville Drive Ball Park and other retail centers throughout the Southeast most recent completing a historic redevelopment call Westone in Stone Avenue in the North Main community Downtown. Current projects include The Staytion, an eco-friendly boutique tree-house and cabin lodging development along the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Travelers Rest. EXPERIENCE Pete has been in the real estate development and brokerage business since 1997 and has been affiliated with three accomplished and respected development companies in the Southeast including Centennial American Properties, Windsor Aughtry Company and Blanchard and Calhoun Commercial Corporation before joining Caine in 2009. He has developed freestanding retail, neighborhood shopping centers, regional power centers, Class A office buildings, mixed-use projects and historic properties. He has been involved in the entire development process from market analysis, site location, property acquisition and assemblage, pre-development planning and budgeting, public/private partnerships, construction, project management, leasing, sales and disposition.
