Paul is widely regarded as one of the licensed sector’s most prolific dealmakers, with knowledge and experience honed over more than 25 years in the industry. His expertise ranges from acquiring either multiple assets or individual sites, or helping clients to grow their portfolio from one site into a group, as well as handling all aspects of the sales process. He has substantial knowledge of M&A group strategy disposals/acquisitions, specialising in advising both corporate, multiple operators and private individuals within the Pub and Bar sector. Paul has a particular aptitude for providing innovative and creative solutions to clients’ problems, in order to ensure they receive the maximum returns or the best possible investment/covenant available. His ability to spot trends and conditions affecting operators and landlords is reflected by his impressive client list, including City Pub Co, Fullers, Imbiba, Livelyhood, Darwin & Wallace, Youngs, Mosaic Pub Co, Solitaire Bars & Restaurants, and Market Taverns.
