Patrick is responsible for leading leasing efforts on a diverse portfolio consisting of grocery-anchored centers, community power centers, ground up multi-tenant development projects, mixed-use projects, unanchored strip centers and freestanding buildings. Patrick takes a strategic and methodical approach to each project by creating a custom leasing plan, having proficient knowledge of the retail trade area, and leveraging industry relationships with national, regional and local retailers and restaurants. Patrick has worked with institutional owners and developers such as Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, CIM Group, Simon Property Group, Longpoint Realty Partners, TriBridge Residential, Slate Asset Management, VEREIT, CW Capital and Equity One (who merged with Regency Centers), as well as regional and local owners and developers such as Hendon Properties, Halpern Enterprises, Interface Properties, Dimension Development Partners and Salomon Real Estate Group. In 2017, Patrick was honored with VEREIT’s prestigious Leasing Broker of the Year award at RECon ICSC for his achievement and work in successfully leasing a 3.5 acre former Border’s Bookstore redevelopment parcel at a regional community power center in Austell, GA. Patrick has also obtained a Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), demonstrating his commitment and excellence in the highest levels of competency in retail leasing. Prior to founding Highpoint Real Estate, Patrick worked as a Senior Vice President of Leasing and partner at The Shopping Center Group where he oversaw the leasing of a 2,000,000 SF portfolio of all retail product types. Patrick was born and raised in Duluth, GA. A graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in real estate, Patrick is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Young Atlanta Retail Alliance, and the Terry College of Business Mentor Program.
