Nolan’s professional real estate career has spanned more than a decade in Charlotte and the surrounding area. As a Charlotte native, Nolan has a unique understanding of the intricacies and trends of the local markets for Mecklenburg and the surrounding counties. Nolan started his commercial real estate career as a sales associate with McGuire Properties specializing in land brokerage. He was awarded the Top Commercial Producer Award by the Business Property Magazine in 1988. Prior to joining Bissell Patrick, Nolan successfully owned two businesses – one was a chemical manufacturing business which was sold to found a new company, Asia Apparel. After growing sales in Asia Apparel to more than $14,000,000, the business was sold and Nolan jumped back into the commercial real estate business by joining The Keith Corporation where he was a top sales associate for five years. Since joining Bissell Patrick, LLC in 2005 and Merrifield Patrick in 2010, Nolan has continued to focus in the land real estate market and is comfortable representing clients from the individual owner up to the national developer. His transactions have ranged from 1,000 square foot retail leases to more than 1,000-acre land sales. Nolan has worked hard to build long term relationships and as a result, many of his transactions are with repeat clients. Nolan majored in Business Management at North Carolina State University where he played on the Golf Team and was an All-Conference Athlete, First Team All-American and awarded the Top 50 All-Time ACC Golfers Title. He has also been active in his community serving at the YMCA, Christ Episcopal Church and as a Board Member of Kinder Mourn.
