Milt Prewitt, SIOR

J. Milton Prewitt graduated with a Master’s Degree in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University in December 1984, and joined The Midway Companies, a full service vertically integrated commercial real estate firm as a Marketing Representative in January 1985 after serving as a Summer Intern in 1984. In July, 1996, Mr. Prewitt formed J.M. Prewitt Company, a full service commercial and industrial real estate company dedicated to providing quality professional service that is second-to-none. Mr. Prewitt is active in civic activities where he currently serves on the Advisory Board of Directors of Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital, and the Board of the Southeast Texas Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has previously served on several boards including the Board of The Beaumont A&M Club, The Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, and The Rotary Club of Beaumont. He is a graduate of Leadership Southeast Texas, is a Past Chairman of the Beaumont Business Partnership, served as Vice Chairman of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce’s 2nd Century Planning Project in 1997, and is a past Chairman of The Beaumont Economic Development Council. Additionally, he has served on the Advisory Board of Directors of Capital One Bank, on the Real Estate Committee of the Texas A&M Foundation, and the Board of Directors of Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Beaumont. He is a Past Chairman of the Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School Annual Fund Drive, and is a past President of the Beaumont A&M Club. He is actively involved in the St. Kolbe Prison Ministry and is a past member of the St. Kolbe Prison Ministry Core Team for the Diocese of Beaumont. Mr. Prewitt is a member of The Beaumont Board of REALTORS, and has achieved the SIOR Designation (Specialist, Industrial and Office Real Estate) in the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS (SIOR) which is an international association of commercial real estate brokers. He is a Past President of the Houston / Gulf Coast Chapter of SIOR and a Past Chairman of the Commercial Division of the Beaumont Board of REALTORS.
