Mike Carroll

Mike is the third owner/principal broker of the General Land umbrella of Companies. He has been nationally recognized for his sales production, as well as his leadership and business acumen. Mike has extensive experience in real estate marketing, transactions, consulting and development capacities in commercial real estate throughout the South East beginning in 1986 with General Land of Virginia. Present and past projects range from small to large working with local, regional and national clients he has assisted in creating new destinations and markets such as the Lewistown Road/I-95 area of Northlake, Bass Pro; Walthall New Car oasis; redevelopment of the Jeff Davis/Rt. 10 area and several other new and infill markets. Present projects include the western development of 300 acres at Rt. 288, I-64 and Broad Street for a concentrated mixed use opportunity. Community activities include leadership roles in at risk kids programs and 35 years as a paramedic with aeromedical, wilderness and ground rescue, ski patroller and generally extracting folks from some of the craziest situations.
