As the Vice President of Retail Services & Investment Sales at Cushman & Wakefield, Michael specializes within the street front retail and market throughout the GTA. After relocating from a Toronto boutique real estate firm where he focused on urban retail leasing, Michael activated his extensive market knowledge of leasing within the capital markets platform through investment sales assignments. His focus is on urban retail and mixed-use assets, primarily along Toronto’s high streets and prevalent corridors. Concentrating on investment transactions but keeping a hand in relevant retail and commercial leasing affords Michael with valuable two-sided market intelligence, with leasing often as part value-add disposition or acquisition process. His knowledge of the end-user market, retail relationships, leasing demand and intensification, continue to grow his platform and provide his clients with comprehensive advisory. Over just the past 48 months, Michael has been responsible for the sale of over 40 retail and mixed-use properties in the GTA, with sales volume exceeding $150MM, as well as transacting on a combined lease consideration in excess of $200MM.
