Michele Burris
Michele is the owner and managing broker of Local Market Realty. She has been a real estate broker in North Carolina since 2001 representing buyers and sellers in Chapel Hill, Durham and surrounding areas. First licensed in Texas in 1985, she is certified in Luxury Home Marketing and also loves working with first time home buyers and educating them on the home buying process. Michele has extensive experience working with Duke and UNC medical residents and physicians. 90% of her business is referrals and repeat business from past clients. She has an extensive background in new construction and was the youngest salesperson, at age 20, to break division records for volume and closing percentages for Builder of the Year in Texas 1985-1987. She was a marketing manager for a national resort development firm in Dallas and is a former owner of an internet based employment search firm specializing in the recruiting and placement of computer professionals and project managers.
