Michael Spiro

Mike Spiro is an Executive Managing Director at Newmark, specializing in full-service representation of landlords, investors and tenants in the greater East Bay and Silicon Valley markets. Mike began his real estate career in 2004 at Cushman & Wakefield’s Oakland office, where he focused on providing industrial and R&D real estate services to his clients. In 2007, Mike helped launch the firm’s Hayward (now Oakland) office, which was the firm’s first industrial office in the East Bay. His passion and experience regarding the East Bay and Silicon Valley have been instrumental in the creation of a strong regional industrial presence known for best-in-class brokerage services and unparalleled market knowledge. With a background in architecture and design, Mike offers a range of real estate advisory services to both tenants and landlords, including space planning, test-fit and spec marketing recommendations. Since joining the firm, Mike has consistently been a Top Five producer in the regional office, including finishing as the Number One Producer in 2009, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
