Michael J. Sampone joined Pyramid Brokerage Company, Inc. as a Sales Agent in 2005 after retiring from New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. During his 33-year career with Tax & Finance, he served in a number of executive managerial positions. He also served as the Administrator of the World Trade Center Relief Fund, which was created by Governor Pataki, after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. As Administrator, he was responsible for the collection and distribution of more than $70 million in donations, to the families of those who lost their lives and those who were injured in the terrorist attacks in 2001.
