Michael Ryer
As founder of Ryer Associates Commercial Real Estate, he has spent over 25 years in the practice of real estate in the Greater Danbury Area. Mr. Ryer founded the firm as Ryer Associates, Inc., in 1972 as a residential and commercial company; he was President through 1986. In 1980, he merged his residential division with Realtech Realtors which was extremely successful, growing to 22 residential offices and becoming the largest residential real estate firm in Fairfield and New Haven Counties. In 1986 Realtech was acquired by Centerbank, Mr. Ryer served as President until 1991. He continues to serve Ryer Associates Commercial real Estate as Vice Chairman. Mr. Ryer believes in giving back to the community; he is a Director on the Board at Datahr Rehabilitation Institute, he serves on the Advisory Committee at NewMil Bank. He is is also a Director of the Housatonic Valley Economic Development Partnership.
