Mr. Roa has been a Houston business leader since the 1990s, having built companies in both real estate and automotive industries that serve the greater Houston community. His advanced leadership roles in operations, strategic planning, administrative services, and finance use his business acumen, strong work ethic, and irreproachable integrity to overcome complex business challenges. He is a visionary strategist driven by an exceptional work ethic whose instincts, insight, and timing sustained his success during difficult times. Mr. Roa has over 30 years of business, operating, customer service, and leadership experience. Michael’s experience ranges from building custom multi-million dollar and specification homes to developing multi-tenant office buildings and warehouse space. On every project, Michael serves in the role of contractor, supervising every step of the process to maintain quality and cost controls. He continues in the role of leasing agent and manager of his properties to ensure he has the right tenants and that the buildings are properly managed. Michael’s philosophy is simple: “Well done is better than well said.” Michael is currently working extensively in the revitalization of Houston’s Tirz 1, St. George’s Place. He has invested in over 40 real estate properties collaborating to improve and beautify this area. He works with city council leaders and the community to make this area safe for business, children and families. Michael is donating numerous hours of his time to support fundraising events including working with the Fire Department to bring awareness to members of the community on the mission to improve this community. His commitment to Houston is endless. Michael’s long-term vision is to compile a real estate portfolio with prime locations in the direction of future growth, and ultimately redevelop those properties in high density commercial projects. In the short term, Michael will continue to acquire one to three individual sites each year, remaining focused primarily on the Galleria area. He intends to build a core property management team to take over the day-to-day operations of the portfolio, which will allow him to focus on evaluating new sites and to keep his finger on the pulse of Houston’s growth. Throughout Michael’s career, he has been grateful for his successes and gives back to numerous organizations in the community. Michael believes in helping others and generously donates his time to support organizations that empower community and youth programs.Michael is a native Houstonian and has been married to his wife, Veronica,photo for over 22 years. They have 3 boys who are active in school and sports activities. Michael spends a significant amount of time coaching and mentoring his and other children on and off the sports fields to develop their skills and confidence through hard work, fair treatment and recognition of their efforts. Michael and his wife support a number of local Houston charities, including the Woods Project, Child Advocates and Family Services of Greater Houston.
