Michael Jones, CCIM

Mike Jones is President and Managing Broker of Franchise Real Estate Group, specializing in industrial, retail, land, and medical office properties throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. With more than 25 years of experience in commercial leasing, investment sales, development, and property management, he previously managed a portfolio of over 1,200 government-owned, tax-foreclosed, and nonprofit properties. Mike holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist (TACS) designations. His academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Management and Public Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts and Sciences, and Associate Degrees in Real Estate and Criminal Justice. A licensed real estate instructor and former Dallas College professor, Mike teaches commercial real estate courses through MetroTex and Texas REALTORS®. He serves on the MetroTex and Texas REALTORS® Commercial Committees and is Past President of the MetroTex Commercial Data Exchange. Mike was named a Texas Commercial Real Estate ICON by REDnews, honored as Hero of the Year by the University of Texas at Arlington’s Student Society of Real Estate, and recognized by D Magazine for excellence in community service. His civic leadership includes previously serving as Mayor Pro Tem and on multiple municipal economic development boards.
