Michael Jacobs

Michael Jacobs serves as a senior associate at Marcus & Millichap's Minneapolis office. He specializes in multifamily investments in the Minneapolis and greater Twin Cities areas. He holds a BA in business with a minor in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Working with private and institutional investors, he is involved in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily housing assets. Michael uses his extensive market knowledge to achieve maximum value for his clients. He knows how to develop a market-based approach to establish a strong negotiating position for his clients. Providing exceptional customer service, he goes above and beyond to facilitate each step of a transaction to provide successful results. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Michael was with Kidder Mathews at their El Segundo, California office. He specialized in multifamily sales in the Long Beach and greater Los Angeles areas. Preceding his tenure with Kidder Mathews, Michael was with MBP Capital, a multifamily investment firm with offices in Dallas, Texas and Denver, Colorado. At MBP Capital, Michael held positions as analyst, associate broker, on-site property manager, property operations manager, and regional property manager. During his time at MBP Capital, Michael gained experience in property management and the real estate investment market. He worked his way up from on-site property manager to regional property manager where he was directly responsible for managing an 800 unit portfolio.
