Prior to joining Transwestern, Michael first served as a Certified Public Accountant for KPMG Peat Marwick and later as a Manager of Finance for Cadbury Schweppes PLLC. Due to his unique financial background as a CPA with an MBA, he is able to help businesses optimize their lease, sublease, purchase, sale, or new construction real estate solutions. Clients such as the Baptist General Convention of Texas, Risk Theory, Catapult Health, ConocoPhillips, and many others have all benefited from Michael’s unique consultative approach to commercial real estate. Michael is skilled at not only lease renewal, relocation and sublease transactions, but also investment sale and build-to-suit or buy-to-suit commercial real estate opportunities. His approach considers a whole host of topics not the least of which are workplace solutions in a COVID-19 world, labor analytics and lease accounting financial reporting. This strategic process creates real estate solutions that promote organizational success, which ultimately accomplishes mission goals and grows shareholder value. Michael graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Texas Real Estate professional. Michael has also earned the SIOR designation.
