Michael Durst

Michael Durst is a Vice President, Investments for Brexton Commercial who specializes in Retail sales and leasing. Michael is a passionate, honest, and driven businessman who graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Lousiana with a Bachelor of Science in Management in Marketing. Michael also has backgrounds in Finance, Legal, Accounting and Psychology to aid in his Real Estate services. Because of his tendency for open-communication, tenacity and positivity, Michael was recommended to consider a career in commercial real estate. Fascinated with the industry, Michael started with CoStar Group in the research department making an average of 50+ calls per day to collect key data for decision makers in the market. This process of consistently calling to manage relationships and data allowed Michael to develop the skills necessary to succeed as a broker. Michael grew tremendously and practiced a data-driven approach to goal-oriented selling. Michael found this approach to be successful at CoStar and left to test the waters of brokerage with higher value products. Today, Michael successfully works with clients at a micro and macro level to provide effective solutions to their most challenging Real Estate needs.
