Michael Campbell, CCIM has been working with developers, REITs and private owners since 2008. Campbell gets involved early on as they move from site evaluation to acquisition negotiations, lease agreements and, ultimately, successful asset disposition. Campbell also works directly with corporations, franchisors/franchisees, family offices and charitable trusts to identify, negotiate and secure real estate investments in a timely manner. Campbell began his career at DTZ where he quickly garnered respect from clients due to his vast expertise managing approximately 100 complex personal trusts for Wells Fargo’s Private Client Services Group. The trusts Campbell oversaw included investments and real estate properties valued in excess of $100 million. Campbell also spent much of his career working with special servicers, during which time he was able to swiftly assist in the evaluation, re-tenanting and, ultimately, disposition of distressed assets. With an active real estate brokerage license in California, Campbell has worked with powerhouse tenants and companies, including Walgreens, Chipotle, McDonald’s and Wells Fargo. A sixth-generation Texan, Campbell obtained his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He is a CCIM designee, board member of the San Diego CCIM Chapter and a member of ICSC. Campbell is an active participant in his alumni association, enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife, Emilie, their twins, and labrador retriever. Campbell also volunteers with the Coastal Conservation Association.
