Michael Baraldi

Michael Baraldi is an Executive Managing Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Brokerage and Advisory group in New York, NY. Michael specializes in representing tenants and landlords in the acquisition and disposition of office and life sciences space throughout the Tri-State and globe. Michael has represented tenants in a variety of transactions globally. Notably, he has represented a major financial institution in the complex expansion and long term extension of a 175,000 SF lease in the plaza district of Park Avenue. Additionally, he represented a cutting edge life sciences company in the first ever institutional R&D lease totaling 95,000 SF in Long Island City achieving an unprecedented HQ location with prominent signage while also shaping the neighborhood for years to come. Michael’s work with landlords extends much farther than the lease up of the asset, but also includes pre acquisition underwriting, market research, due diligence, debt/equity and exit strategy. Michael has represented eight different institutional landlord’s in the lease up of over 1 M SF and continues to represent close to 2 M SF of office assets. Michael has the unique understanding in a burgeoning NYC market on the reposition of existing commercial assets to support life sciences use.
