Since 2005, Mr. Matricardi has been involved in the sale of more than $2 billion of multifamily transactions totaling over 7,800 units. Mr. Matricardi embraces a consultative approach to help meet his client’s tax and investment return requirements and adds value and offers services beyond the typical brokerage teams. Merrick Matricardi adds value representing sellers by analyzing the real estate and devising a specific marketing strategy to generate multiple competitive offers, driving the highest potential sales price. He adds value representing buyers with expert market knowledge of active and off the market multifamily inventory and combines that with current and future underwriting to devise an offering strategy to meet their needs. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Mr. Matricardi worked for CBRE since 2005. Mr. Matricardi also spent time in the Commercial Real Estate Finance industry as a commercial account executive providing financing as a direct lender for commercial office, industrial, retail and multi-housing properties across the nation. Mr. Matricardi served as a Property Acquisitions Administrator from 2001 to 2004 responsible for finding, underwriting, and negotiating the acquisition of commercial office and industrial properties in Southern California.
