Meira Shapiro

Meira Shapiro is the founder, 100% owner and CEO of Moet Properties, LTD, Comfort Apartments, LLC, Green Woods Ranch, LLC, Shapiroland Corp., Moet Enterprises, Corp., and TheTriumph, LLC, real estate investment and management firms that acquire, develop and market its own portfolio of rental, Mineral and timber properties. Ms Shapiro has extensive experience working with governmental agencies in developing and managing her Company’s properties: She obtained a DEC and U.S. Army Corps permit for the construction of a five-culvert bridge over a Class C trout stream which feeds directly into U.S. waterways – the first such permit ever awarded in the United States. She is also the recipient of a State Historic Preservation Office Grant in New York City, an Empire State Development Grant in Oswego County, New York from Governor Cuomo and a State Historic Preservation Office permit for construction adjacent to a Native American site. Ms Shapiro holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Political Science from The University of the State of New York, and a Masters Degree in real estate investing from New York University's School of Professional Studies. She is also the former president of Moet Productions, Inc. (a multi-media production company), as well as a published novelist. As a former actress, she has appeared in numerous national and regional TV spots, and has had supporting roles in several feature and independent films. Ms Shapiro began her first construction project in 2005 with an investment in Manhattan real estate where she obtained City of New York permits to combine two units on a high floor in a luxury condominium skyscraper which she owns. Ms Shapiro is also an active NYS Certified Foster/Adoption parent certified by New York State. Ms Shapiro’s most important title is MOM and spends all of her free time with her daughter. Ms Shapiro is also retired from the Israeli Army; where she served Gadna during her High School training abroad, and was stationed there near the West Bank during war conflict.
