Max Sander focuses on representing a broad spectrum of clients from local restaurant groups to global & national retailers.
Max is involved in retail leases, sales and investments within the Bay Area. He continues to advise users, investors and developers on the acquisition and disposition of retail real estate projects. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews’ San Francisco Brokerage division in 2015, Max had a successful career in the San Francisco restaurant and food industry as an executive in the operations and property management of his family’s restaurants, including the historic Hayes Street Grill, and Vicolo Pizza - a national wholesale pizza company. A San Francisco native, Max attended San Francisco Day School before graduating from Saint Ignatius College Preparatory. His extensive knowledge of the Northern California market, combined with his broad operational experience in the restaurant and retail industries, offers his clients a complementary mix of real estate experience. Personal experience in the Bay Area restaurant and wholesale food business gives Max critical insight into real estate issues confronting local retail markets. Max is an accomplished and passionate soccer player and coach. He plays in the San Francisco Adult Soccer League and coaches youth soccer teams.
