ABOUT

Matt graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. in Economics where he lettered in Lacrosse and played in the NCAA Division I National Championship. In addition, Matt has completed post graduate course work from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of San Diego (USD) with an emphasis on real estate. After graduating from the Naval Academy, Matt was commissioned as an Officer in the U.S. Navy and ultimately served as a Division Officer in the Combat Direction Center onboard USS Carl Vinson Aircraft Carrier supporting operations throughout the Middle East, Mediterranean, Pacific, and United States before entering the private sector. Today, his experience includes a diverse and successful track record of selling and leasing millions of square feet of commercial properties. A list of clients that Matt has completed work for includes some of the nation’s most recognized real estate organizations, such as C-III Realty Partners, Sabal Financial, Trimont Real Estate Services (Varde Partners), Colony Capital, Real Capital Markets, GEICO Insurance and Pepsi. Matt has assisted his Clients in underwriting over $2.5 billion of unpaid principal balance and managed the leasing and sale process of properties in 37 states. One of his more significant transactions includes the valuation and underwriting services for a successful acquisition of a $244 million portfolio offered by a well know financial institution. In his spare time, Matt can be found chasing his two daughters around north county where he resides with his wife. He enjoys coaching youth sports and the outdoors and looks forward to time spent hiking, camping and surfing with friends and family on the weekends.
