Matt Lewallen is a Principal and Co-Founder of NorthPeak Commercial Real Estate Advisors (formerly AQYRE Real Estate Advisors). Matt has a strong emphasis on Multifamily but is truly an Investment Sales Specialist. He has helped many clients transition throughout the various asset classes as the market changes and dictates —this specialized ability has helped his clients make money in all cycles of the market. Prior to starting NorthPeak Commercial Real Estate Advisors Matt spent 11 years with a boutique investment real estate brokerage firm here in Denver. Over Matt’s tenure there he was consistently a top producer not only at the firm but citywide. Prior to his brokerage career, Matt founded a Denver development firm that purchased, rehabbed, and sold about 150 apartment units throughout Denver. Before Matt was in commercial real estate, he received his degree in Civil Engineering, and played a large role in the estimating and construction of several heavy civil construction projects with budgets in excess of $1 billion, including the I-25 widening, from Broadway to County Line, commonly referred to as “T-Rex”. I have over 16 years of commercial real estate experience as both an investor and broker totaling over $500M in sales and 200+ transactions. I am multifaceted with a degree in civil engineering and experience on heavy civil projects in infrastructure and mining. When not in my professional life I am avid about fitness, running, cycling, CrossFit, anything to get the endorphins flowing!
