With transactional expertise ranging from the structured disposition of major ground-up multifamily development projects to private and institutionally owned multifamily, mixed-use, retail, entertainment, and office properties, Matthew is an expert in the marketing, valuation, purchase, sale, financing, and 1031 exchange of income-producing property. Overall, his experience allows him to excel in the analysis and advisory as well as the disposition, acquisition and joint venture of core, core plus, value-add and distressed assets, along with the creation of property and portfolio level business plans. Additionally, Matthew is well versed in tax-deferred 1031 exchanges, aiding clients in sourcing, negotiating, and closing, while respecting time constraints. Matthew started his career in real estate at Marcus & Millichap then expanded his expertise with Cantor Fitzgerald and their NGKF Capital Markets real estate investment banking platform as a Managing Director and leader of one of the top producing teams in the South Western United States.
