Matt McKinnerney
As Vice President of Leasing Matt is responsible for spearheading the leasing of all Read King owned assets and third party assignments.
With more than 9 years of experience in project leasing, Matt has been a key member of Read King’s leasing team since joining the company in 2018, and he has been instrumental in the lease up of more than 500,000 square feet of space with a capitalized value in excess of $150 million. Matt has an extensive network of broker and tenant relationships in the Houston area, and he effectively balances leasing velocity, tenant mix, and lease terms to create the greatest long-term value for his clients. Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University where he was a letterman athlete for the university’s swimming and diving team. In addition to being a licensed Texas Real Estate Sales Agent, Matt is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Texas A&M Association of Former Students. In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, exploring new places, playing golf, exercising, and doing just about anything outdoors.
