An active force in St. Louis commercial real estate since 1999, Matthew Hrubes has extensive transaction experience representing office and industrial tenants and owners. As the Managing Director of DTZ’s St. Louis operations, Matt guides the delivery of DTZ’s integrated platform of occupier services locally and regionally. During his time in the St. Louis market, Mr. Hrubes has amassed a great deal of personal knowledge and expertise which he can leverage for his clients to achieve optimal results. His deep familiarity with office and industrial space user requirements allows him to help his clients align their real estate with their business goals, ultimately driving value. Mr. Hrubes specializes in negotiating sales contracts and leases to achieve the best market rates, prices and terms; as well as analyzing tax abatements and other possible incentives. His ability to develop insightful financial analysis while weighing all lease parameters allows Matt to best advise his clients and facilitate well-informed decision making. Matt joined DTZ from Balke Brown Transwestern where he served as Vice President ? Commercial Brokerage. In this role, he was responsible for leasing, investment sales, acquisitions and disposition work on behalf of occupiers and investors. He specialized in both industrial and office tenant representation, while also marketing properties on behalf of owners. He has also held senior roles at Duke Realty Corporation and Colliers Turley Martin Tucker (Cassidy Turley). He has been recognized for his skill in brokerage by both CoStar and the St. Louis Business Journal.
