Matt Hermsen joined Flinn Ferguson in 2002. Over the past 18+ years as an exclusive tenant advocate, Matt has represented some of the Puget Sound’s most prominent tenants in both Seattle and Bellevue, as well as Tacoma. Matt has been known to think outside the box, often times turning a disadvantage into an opportunity. Matt has extensive experience with facility relocations, lease renewals, expansion and contractions, subleasing, multiple market lease portfolio management, and building purchasing. Flinn Ferguson’s track record for success has led to the most accomplished resume in the Puget Sound with experience that includes: Google, State Farm, Tableau Software, Zillow, Symetra Financial, Facebook, Providence Healthcare, Oracle, Bungie, and Progressive Insurance . Matt grew up in the Puget Sound and attended the Claremont Colleges, graduating with a degree in Economics. He met his wife, Shannon, during his first year on campus. They were married in 2007 and have three children (Nicholas (12), Kaitlyn (9), and Elizabeth (newborn)) and live in Seattle. Both athletes in college (Shannon softball, Matt football and track), they enjoy running, with Matt recently completing a marathon in Snoqualmie, WA. In addition to running, Matt enjoys coaching his kids’ teams, golfing, all Seattle sporting teams, wine, and traveling (with and without kids).
