MASON B. HARVEY was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1972. He is proud to call Las Vegas his home ever since. Mr. Harvey has been a full time practicing REALTOR® for more than 30 years in the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding communities. During this time, he has acquired a reputation as an influential and successful pillar in his industry. Mason is the winner of numerous impressive accolades and awards, and over the years consistently ranked among the top percentage of the highest ranked real estate agents in the Las Vegas Valley. Mr. Harvey is a proud member of the real estate brokerage firm BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY HomeServices Nevada Properties - previously known as Prudential Americana Group, REALTORS®. He has successfully negotiated an impressive $251 Million plus in closed real estate transactions - this includes residential, multi-family, unimproved land (residential, commercial and industrial), and commercial leasing. With his savvy expertise, Mason has purchased, assembled and packaged for syndication, tens of millions of dollars of investment real estate in Clark County and Nye County, and manages several of his own investment properties. Having been a resident of Las Vegas since the early 70’s, Mr. Harvey has a keen business sense and highly developed knowledge of construction and land development. He is an expert in the acquisition and development of residential, commercial and speculative investment properties. Mason works closely with developers in procuring all the necessary zoning and entitlements and because of his many years of forming relationships with City and County commissioners and staff members, he has streamlined this process and has become known as one of the finest in his field (www.masonharvey.com). Mr. Harvey is the proud father of his son, Brandon, who was recently a Boy Scout with local NW Las Vegas Troop 678 where Mason served as an Assistant Scoutmaster. Brandon is now a distinguished member of the United States Air Force. Mason enjoys many hobbies including snow and water skiing, scuba diving, riding off-road vehicles, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, boating, white-water rafting, rappelling, firearms proficiency, travel and photography. When he wants to completely relax, Mason can’t think of anything better than reading a good book on the beach or in the mountains with a fine glass of wine. Mason graduated from UNLV in 1983 with a B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis on finance. He is also a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Sales Course® – and continues to develop his personal and professional skills. In 1984 Mason obtained NASD/FINRA securities licenses as a Direct Participation Program Principal (Series 39) and a Direct Participation Program Sales Representative (Series 39), as well as successfully completed the Uniform Securities Agent Nevada State Law Examination (Series 63). Mason obtained his Nevada real estate license in December 1979 and his Broker-Salesman license in January of 1987. Mr. Harvey is also currently a partner with Ernest Becker V & Dr. Leonard Cash in Hopeful Kids, LLC, which was conceived by Dr. Leonard Cash who created a guide to instill hope in children.
