ABOUT

Although originally from West Virginia, Marty Wilcox fell in love with North Carolina at an early age. As a child, she would spend summers at her family’s Lake Norman vacation home. Throughout the years, Denver has seen flourishing growth and Lake Norman was where she knew she wanted to build her life. After attending college as a student-athlete in Greensboro, NC, she moved to Denver and put her Business Major to work by creating a property management business for her family’s investment properties. It started with one vacation rental (our original lake house) and now consists of three vacation rentals, two long term rentals, and two commercial properties. After successfully managing the rental properties, Marty realized the abundance of people interested in relocating to the area. Therefore, while she managed and built the property management side, she obtained her real estate license and decided to hang her license with Lake Norman Realty. Since Marty started in real estate sales, she has obtained numerous accolades for listing and sales achievements. Most notably, in 2018, Marty received Lake Norman Realty’s coveted “Success Award for Outstanding Sales Performance.” A year where she was also nationally recognized by their referral network, “Leading Real Estate Agencies of the World” for her unique marketing approach on luxury listings. In 2019, she was honored to be featured in “Lake Norman Currents Magazine” in their “Women in Business” issue. Her most recent achievement to date is being awarded the Charlotte Region's "2020 Rising Star Award" through Five Star Professional. With over seven million in sales since her journey began, Marty believes her success can be accredited towards her strong work ethic, communication skills, and her unique marketing approach. She thinks a sense of client relations has been lost in the real estate realm and with her background in customer service she knows how much going that extra step means.
