In his 14 years with Katz, he has managed real estate transactions & expansion plans for national, regional and local retailers in distribution planning, renewals, renegotiations in every market in the southeast and Puerto Rico; including Jos. A. Bank, Bath & Body Works, DSW Shoes, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, ULTA, Discovery Clothing, Pet Supermarket and many others. His expertise includes site selection, lease negotiations and disposition work. Marty has been a top producer at Katz, having successfully negotiated over 700 deals, and has developed relationships with all the top regional and national landlords that have properties in the Southeast and throughout the United States. Before joining Katz & Associates, Mr. Hennessy gained 21 years of experience with Hallmark, residing and working in eight different markets throughout the east coast and Midwest and was awarded Hallmark's most prestigious sales award - the R.B. Hall Award six times and serving in a variety of roles including Director of Real Estate and Site Development, East Region. In this position, he managed a team of store designers, site selection and leasing staff that were responsible for the entire strip center, free standing, downtown and mall points of distribution for the East Coast.
