Marshall Thurmond

As a Senior Associate in Transwestern’s Austin office, Marshall’s primary focus is Agency Leasing for office and medical office assets for various institutional, regional and private clients. His responsibilities include project representation, business needs analysis, transaction/lease negotiation, deal coordinating, prospecting and market intelligence. In addition, Marshall is involved in Tenant Advisory services and is engaged in new business development for the company’s Central Texas region. Since joining Transwestern in 2019, Marshall has completed over 125 transactions totaling over 650,000 square feet. Notable lease transactions include Cisco Systems, Balfour Beatty, Upstart Holdings, CyberTex Institute of Technology, Surgical Care Affiliates/Optum, Ascension Seton, St. David’s Healthcare Partnership, Baylor Scott & White, Texas Children’s Hospital and Austin Regional Clinic. Marshall’s expertise, client-focused approach and work ethic have contributed to strong relationships with many institutional clients, including The RMR Group, Barings, Healthcare Realty Trust, Welltower, Healthpeak Properties, Olympus Ventures LLC, as well as many local and regional clients. Prior to this role, Marshall served as an Intern at Transwestern throughout his undergrad years.
