Originally from Binghamton, New York, Mr. Llewellyn started his 30 year career in commercial real estate in the construction field as an assistant to the construction superintendent. His work involved renovating and preserving some of the city’s historic buildings. These buildings contained uses including retail, restaurants, offices, and apartments. After the construction projects were completed and the ownership changed hands, Mark moved into the property management side for the facilities. Mr. Llewellyn had the responsibilities of tenant relations, physical engineering, security, and purchasing materials and supplies. In 1985 Mr. Llewellyn located to Baltimore and joined MacKenzie & Associates as a Property Manager. Some of his larger management assignments included Kenilworth Park Mall, Commerce Center, Carney Village Shopping Center, Padonia Village and Pot Springs Office Complex. In 1988, Mark joined Cohen & Flax Management as the General Manager of the Meadows Business Park located in Woodlawn, MD. This 23 building 1,100,000 square- foot business park contained warehouse, office, and retail components. In this capacity, Mr. Llewellyn supervised 7 field employees and 4 office personnel, all administrative, financial reporting, property management, construction, and capital improvement functions for the entire Park. During his seven-year tenure he was promoted to Vice President and General Manager for Meadows Business Park. After the Park was sold, Mr. Llewellyn joined Nottingham Properties as a Property Manager in 1995. He was responsible for the management of five commercial condominium associations, and all retail, office and warehouse facilities in White Marsh, Maryland and office complexes in Columbia and Towson, Maryland. He improved tenant relations and deferred maintenance at all of his facilities under his control. Since 1998, Mr. Llewellyn has been employed by Meisel Holdings. He has enjoyed the last 10 years as the Director of Property Management for the Baltimore Portfolio. He is responsible for 1,000,000 square feet of warehouse, office and retail facilities containing 125 tenants located in 35 buildings. Reporting directly to the owners in Rockville, Maryland from his office in Baltimore, his responsibilities include sales and leasing, financial reporting, tenant relations, property management, capital improvements, and recommendation and implementation of strategic planning for his portfolio.
