As a commercial real estate broker, Mark specializes in selling senior housing, office and retail buildings and investment-quality commercial real estate. In 2002, after sixteen months of intensive study, Mark achieved the esteemed CCIM designation for commercial real estate brokers. In 2006, Mark joined a fellow CCIM on a trip to Nigeria (Lagos, Enugu, and Anambra State), to investigate investment opportunities. This trip was featured in an issue of Commercial Investment Real Estate magazine. They returned in 2007 and 2008 to meet with top-level government officials, and propose representing the Nigerian federal government in the sale of its assets. In 2011, they returned as business consultants to perform a month-long analysis of Chisco Group-formerly the largest trucking company in Nigeria.
