Having grown up in Sea Girt, NJ – right on the shore – Margretta spent much of her childhood in the office of her family-run Real Estate business. Her mother was an attorney and both her father and grandmother were Realtors. Margretta was able to start her career early on simply by listening to property transactions and attending showings and property management appointments. As she puts it – Real Estate is the life she was born into. Attending Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, Margretta studied communications and dance, skills that she believes help her in working throughout the process of buying or selling a home. From guiding a homeowner through a listing to walking buyers step by step through the process of a purchase, it is particularly meaningful for Margretta to see families strengthen their bond and grow deep roots by becoming home owners. “ I feel over the past several years of being a licensed realtor, that I have developed skills and knowledge to truly be an asset to the community and my clients. The training and daily guidance Maple Leaf provides only pushes me to work harder and help real estate transactions through to closing.” Besides working, Margretta loves to spend time with her husband and family, relaxing in the sun by the pool, gardening and travel. She also stays active in her community teaching playgroups and working with new mothers and babies in Bennington County providing support and encouragement as well as volunteering for the library and her church vestry. Before becoming a Realtor, she founded a children’s dance company, “Dancing Little Feet” and taught and performed ballet, jazz and modern dance. Margretta recently listed and sold the historic Inn on Covered Bridge Green in Arlington, the former home and studio of Norman Rockwell. An amazing opportunity and one she would love to experience again. Give Margretta a call or email her and experience for yourself her love of this business, her enthusiasm and terrific attitude to make your home buying or selling a positive one.
