Marcelo Garces
Life sciences, healthcare, and data center leader.
Garcés has a diverse background with a high level of command of life sciences, medical and data center transactions. As a bi-lingual commercial real estate specialist fluent in Spanish and English, he has worked in land acquisition and due diligence, contract negotiations, entitlements, design-build process, program management and fast-track execution. Prior to Mohr Partners, Garcés joined the Colliers International to form both Life Science and Data Center specialty brokerage groups. Before Colliers, Marcelo worked with Sabey Construction Inc. as a development and construction project manager. His responsibilities included directing the design-build of data center, life sciences and medical development projects, and negotiating and coordinating the execution of a 90 acre acquisition for data centers. He began his career at Sabey Corporation working as a leasing associate and evolved into an associate vice president for leasing and development. Before joining Sabey, Garcés was a project engineer at Structural Engineers Inc. in Los Altos, CA. His responsibilities included designing structural solutions for commercial buildings and large-scale private estates
