ABOUT

Marc A. Lawson is the Managing Partner at PrinGroup Commercial who specializes in development and buyer/seller representation. Marc and Steven grew up together and Marc joined PrinGroup in 2016 when he moved back to Houston from New York. Prior to joining PrinGroup, Marc co-founded Trident Group, a military veteran executive placement firm headquartered in New York City that specializes in placing the top echelon of transitioning military talent into Fortune 500 Companies and Wall Street where he is still a partner. Before being stationed in New York City, he served five years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy and had assignments in Virginia Beach and Bahrain. During these assignments, he went on three deployments to the Middle East and Africa leading ship boardings and anti-piracy operations. Marc is originally from Sugar Land, Texas, and is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He was recruited to play football and holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Marc currently resides in West U with his wife Whitney Kuhn Lawson, their two children Patton and Weezie, their tow labs Peppa and Poppy, and Otis their King Charles Cavalier. He is an avid Texans, Rockets, Astros fan, and Naval Academy football fan and enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
