About 42 years ago my husband Joe and I were working in Portland. He asked me whether I would like to live in Gold Beach because he had a job offer here. Of course I said yes! I have always loved the coast and I knew Gold Beach was a great place to live. We moved here in 1982 and have enjoyed raising our family here, making life-long friends and building our businesses here ever since. I began working in real estate part-time in 1990 for a prominent broker, Lois Whitehead, and worked for her until she hit retirement age. I then opened my own office and have since been fortunate enough to add several great Realtors to the business. I particularly enjoy working in commercial real estate (RV parks, hotels, etc.) and luxury homes, but find the greatest satisfaction is putting a home buyer into his or her first home. We like to keep up with technology and feel we are pretty cutting edge when it comes to advertising.
