Lisa LaFlure moved to the Emerald Coast from Indiana in 1992. After a few years of working as an executive secretary, she was planning her next career move when some life-changing advice came from her father: Become a Realtor. In one week's time, Lisa found herself taking a crash course in real estate and earning her license. She spent the next few years gaining hands-on experience in real estate, and got married and had her daughter, Anna. In 1996, she and her husband moved to the Atlanta area, where he created a successful business and she continued honing her craft as a Realtor, selling everything from vacant land to chicken farms, while also helping him manage his company. Upon completing their dream vacation home in Crystal Beach, the couple moved back to the area full-time. Lisa hired a real estate coach and a life coach in 2010 and grew her business every year, a journey she says led her to one of the 'pinnacle points' of her career — joining Scenic Sotheby's International Realty in 2020. Today, Lisa said she hopes to continue a business that can become a legacy for her daughter, Anna LaNeve, with whom she works. Lisa enjoys networking and creating relationships as well as finding solutions for the challenges real estate transactions can bring. 'There's a happiness that comes from handing over those keys or handing over a check at the end, whatever phase the client is in,' she said. Lisa prides herself in a personalized approach to every property and maintaining good communication with past and current clients. Previous customers have called Lisa both 'trustworthy and reliable.' She works primarily in the communities along 30A, but serves clients from Destin to Panama City Beach, and also works with customers looking specifically for equestrian properties. In her free time, Lisa can be found on her own farm in DeFuniak Springs, tending to her six horses. One of her goals is to compete in an extreme cowboy race. Lisa loves traveling with her neuromuscular horse dentist husband, Spencer, who cares for horses across the country.
