LeQuan Hylton is the Co-founder, President, and Managing Broker of Hylton & Company. He has over 15 years of real estate and construction experience and has been a licensed realtor since 2009. LeQuan received an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Virginia State University, an MBA from Averett University, and a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He is also a licensed Class-A Contractor and Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE). Because of his combined efforts with his mom in providing quality and affordable housing, Style Weekly named him one of “Richmond’s Top 40 Under 40” in 2014. He was also named one of VCU’s “Top 10 Under 10 Alumni of the Year” in 2017. As a combat veteran with a tour in Afghanistan, LeQuan led construction efforts for Bagram Air Base. He currently serves in the Army Reserves and has held many leadership positions within the Army. One notable mention is the recent commanding of a unit that provides acquisition program support for logistics, engineering, and construction projects by commercial contracted sources. As an active member in several associations, LeQuan has served or is currently serving in the following capacity: Chesterfield County Planning Commission, 2019. The planning commission advises the Board of Supervisors on zoning cases, amendments to the zoning and subdivision ordinance, and comprehensive planning. He is married to the former Nelda Richardson and they have two daughters.
