Leigh Flanagan grew up in Missouri, watching and learning as her father invested in and developed commercial and residential real estate, including numerous residential subdivisions. After helping her father with many transactions, Leigh turned her hobby and experience in real estate into her full-time profession by joining LIV Sotheby's International Realty in 2015! Leigh received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1999 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2003. After graduating law school, she joined the U.S. Department of Justice as a trial attorney from 2003 to 2006. Leigh went on to clerk for several federal court judges (2006-2011) before entering private practice where she represented financially troubled entities and individuals in Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings (2012-2015). Her private practice focused on restructuring secured and unsecured debt in real estate cases, for individual and corporate real estate investors, owners, and developers (residential and commercial).
