Real estate is the family business for Lee Cross. His grandfather, Harry Lee Cross, Jr., started Cross Realty in 1953, and his father, Harry Lee Cross, III, is the owner/managing broker. “I was raised in real estate,” Lee said. “My first job was holding one end of the tape measure for my father, and I got paid with Slurpees.” Today, Lee is an associate broker for the company. He likes the variety of experiences and clients he gets by handling all types of real estate transactions. When he’s not at Cross Realty, Lee enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and racquetball and volunteering with St. Andrew’s Church in Suffolk, where he is co-chairman of the congregational care committee. Lee graduated with honors from James Madison University, where he majored in recreation management and minored in business and human resource development.
