Layne has been with the Landstar Group since 2017. Layne brought with him a background in construction and also project management for residential development. After joining forces with Landstar, he earned his Montana real estate license, hit the ground running, and never looked back. As a realtor, multi-family properties and residential developments have become his specialty areas. Layne’s past experience has afforded him the knowledge and skills to work efficiently with investors, developers, builders and landowners. As a result, Layne helps bring visions of residential developments into reality. Layne’s stress-free approach to real estate keeps his clients at ease, from opening conversations to closing deals. If issues or disruptions arise, his calming demeanor coupled with his project management experience bodes well for settling rough waters, whether it be working with investment properties or with developers. He doesn’t believe in pressuring his clients, and this approach has led to Layne’s many successes. Layne continues his education in real estate by attending conferences and trainings on real estate syndication. He also is a member of the International Shopping Conference (ICSC), a networking conference that connects shopping centers with commercial realtors to bring new businesses to the area. Outside of work, Layne enjoys the endless recreation that northwest Montana has to offer, including skiing and snowboarding at Whitefish Mountain Resort and exploring ski resorts elsewhere, as he loves to travel. During the rest of the year, Layne can be found golfing and wake surfing in the summer, hunting in the fall, and mountain biking anywhere in between.
