Mr. DiSabatino graduated from Lehigh University combining a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Economics. He initially worked with DiSabatino & Raniere Construction Company, developing from estimator and Project Manager to Vice President/Secretary. He addressed the needs for high quality merit shop construction by starting DiSabatino Construction Company in 1981. After successfully diversifying the business further into trade services, full scale residential construction and development projects, he now leads an organization of people committed to delivering quality “Total Building Services.” Mr. DiSabatino has managed over $800 million dollars worth of construction since 1976, including major laboratory, research and office facilities, over 2,700 apartment units, homes, and various commercial facilities. Mr. DiSabatino is a member of several professional associations. He has served many years on the Board of Directors, completed two terms as President, and received the 1991 Charter Cup Award of the Associated Builders and Contractors Delaware chapter. He has been on Associated Builders and Contractors National Board of Directors and now serves on committees. He is past Chairperson and served on the Board of Directors of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce. Mr. DiSabatino was co-chair of the Business Development Committee and a member of The New Castle County Economic Development Board. Mr. DiSabatino received the 2005 New Castle County Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He has served as chairman and logistics coordinator for The Relay for Life for The American Cancer Society. As a Rotarian, he served on the Wilmington Rotary’s Community Service Committee. His commitment to serving others was recognized by the Ministry of Caring awarding him their Caring Bowl in 2002. He remains active in several other community, industrial, and educational activities.
