As a Senior Vice President in CBRE’s retail division, Laurence Oster is overseeing the firm’s retail efforts in Baltimore, working in conjunction with CBRE’s greater Mid-Atlantic retail team. Mr. Oster has nearly 20 years of experience in retail commercial real estate, specializing in factory outlet, transit-oriented, urban, mixed-use and lifestyle properties and asset repositioning. Prior to joining CBRE, he was a founding principal and partner at FFO Real Estate Advisors, overseeing business development and administration for the company, in addition to serving as an active deal maker with national retail tenants for the company’s project-based portfolio. Mr. Oster began his career at Williams Jackson Ewing, Inc. a nationally acclaimed retail development firm known for high-profile projects, such as the redevelopment of Union Station in Washington, D.C. and Grand Central Terminal in New York City. He then joined Prime Retail in 2003, where he played an integral role in the leasing group that helped to reposition the company as one of the top outlet center developers in the industry.
