Laurence Briody

Laurence P. Briody, Jr., an Executive Vice President at CBRE, serves the unique requirements of a diverse range of clients, working on both the tenant representation and landlord agency sides. Valued for his exceptional client dedication as well as his problem-solving abilities, Laurence combines technical training—including a background in both finance and sustainable design—with nearly twenty years of real-world industry experience. His enthusiasm is driven by his ability to grasp the underlying business objectives of his clients and tailor real estate solutions that specifically address these objectives—an approach that has earned him many long-term relationships with his clients, who seek out his advice for far more than real estate transactions. Mr. Briody brings this spirit to his role as the New York Practice Leader of CBRE’s National Nonprofit Practice Group, providing mission-centered strategies that answer the needs of the nonprofit clients he serves. Mr. Briody joined CBRE in 1996. He is one of a few LEED Accredited Professionals in CBRE’s New York brokerage—an asset that gives him uncommon insight into the “green” requirements of his clients. In the course of his career, he has been CBRE’s Top Associate and a recipient of the Chairman’s Award.
