Since joining KLC in 1990, Larry has successfully represented numerous California landowners including hundreds of individuals/family trusts, over forty banks/financial institutions (REO portfolios), developers, builders, insurance commissioners and investors in the disposition of their land holdings. He has also assisted select clients with their land acquisition needs by acquiring or controlling over five thousand acres to date. In a collaborative approach, Larry helps clients, their attorneys and consultants develop strategies for optimizing land value, overcoming multiple-owner management issues and working through complicated title issues and transactions. Prior to joining KLC, Larry enjoyed more than 25 years of combined executive real estate positions with Brock Homes (a Los Angeles based regional home builder), Carma-Sandling Inc. (Irvine based developer and home builder), RBF Inc. (a Newport Beach based planning and multi-disciplinary civil engineer in Newport Beach), and KLP Inc. (a Corona/Irvine based planning and landscape architecture firm). Larry is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, the Claremont Graduate School (Peter F. Drucker School of Management) and is a licensed California real estate broker. Larry has more than forty years of combined public service experience as a planning commissioner, non-profit board member (i.e. affordable housing, private-school and public university) and a Boy Scouts of America volunteer at the Unit, District and Council levels.
