With each successful transaction, Larry's portfolio grew, and he even ventured into the rehabilitation and resale of single-family homes. Driven by an unwavering fascination with the real estate market, Larry transitioned from being an investor to a licensed agent. In a remarkable debut year, he secured the Orange County Association of Realtors Excellence in Sales Bronze Award. Larry's ambitions soared, leading him to establish his own brokerage, Curasi Realty Inc., in October 1999. From humble beginnings in his basement, Larry nurtured his small company, eventually moving to a modest office in the Village of Montgomery and attracting a team of eight agents within the first three years. As Curasi Realty Inc. flourished, Larry sought to elevate his business. After careful deliberation, he aligned his company with the ERA franchise in 2002, renaming it ERA Curasi Realty Inc. Rapid expansion necessitated several office moves until the completion of a permanent headquarters at 1060 State Route 17K Montgomery, NY, in July 2006. Larry's commitment to fostering a team-oriented environment bore fruit, with the office housing a cadre of highly skilled and dedicated agents. In December 2016, Larry and Nancy opted to return to the original Curasi Realty Inc. brand in a nod to Larry's entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his roots. Under Larry's leadership, the brokerage has burgeoned, boasting over 100 licensed agents and a reputation for excellence within the industry. Larry's contributions to the real estate landscape have not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by many accolades throughout his career. Larry's commitment to excellence is evident from consecutive Orange County Association of Realtors Excellence in Sales Awards to ERA Beyond Excellence recognition. His involvement in various industry bodies, including the Greater Hudson Valley Multiple Listing Service and Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service, underscores his dedication to advancing the profession. Currently serving on the OneKey MLS Advisory Taskforce, Larry continues to shape the future of real estate in the region, embodying a steadfast commitment to innovation and excellence.
