Kris Upton

Kris Upton CPA CCIM, serves as President & CEO of RPM Group, the parent company of RPM Commercial, Inc.; RPM Management Company, Inc.; RPM Residential, Inc. dba Coldwell Banker RPM Group; and numerous investment companies. Upton oversees strategic direction, investment management, and has full charge of the Company’s operations and affairs. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Upton held finance, investor relations, and operations positions at Alltel Communications, a Fortune 200 company. He served as the Company’s primary spokesperson to Wall Street on financial matters. Additionally, he led and mentored teams of up to 85 professionals while serving in an operations role. Prior to Alltel, Upton worked as a CPA in public practice for a regional accounting firm. He is a Certified Public Accountant (1996), Certified Commercial Investment Member (2010), and licensed Realtor (2013). Upton earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arkansas and later studied investor relations at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
