Kevin Markwordt

As Senior Managing Director of Transwestern’s Southeast Investment Services Group (ISG) based in Atlanta, Kevin Markwordt and his partners Jon Kleinberg, John Bell and Mike McGaughy oversee all of the firm’s investment sales brokerage services throughout the Southeastern U.S. The Southeast ISG team consistently ranks among Transwestern’s top investment sales producers. Kevin has more than 22 years of investment sales experience and has successfully completed more than a billion dollars of sales and financing. Before joining Transwestern, he was a senior managing director for Insignia/ESG and was the top investment sales broker in Atlanta during his tenure. He was also named Insignia/ESG’s number one investment broker in 2001. Kevin has been retained by institutional clients such as GE Capital, Morgan Stanley, Prudential, MetLife, Transwestern Investments, Arcap, New York Life, JP Morgan, DLJ, RREEF Funds, State Farm, American Express, LNR Partners, Chase Manhattan Bank, GMAC, Cigna, Bank One, Midland, Safeco, Orix, Midland, JER, Berkadia, CWCapital, Invesco and many other investors with assets in the Southeast. Kevin is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. He earned the prestigious CCIM designation, demonstrating his financial acumen Kevin received his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from University of Maryland with a minor in computer science and he graduated from General Electric’s well recognized management training program in 1986.
