Kevin Kawaoka, CCIM, has 19 years of experience in multifamily real estate advisory and investment sales and serves as Executive Vice President at NAI Capital, leading Bluechip Investment Group's Multifamily Services Group across the firm's Los Angeles and South Bay offices. He specializes in the sale of apartment buildings (5–100+ units) for private owners, portfolio owners, family offices, and 1031-exchange investors. Kevin pairs institutional-grade underwriting with the senior, hands-on attention of a boutique — every building priced precisely, marketed widely, and positioned to sell for the most the market will pay. Kevin began his commercial real estate career as a research analyst at Grubb & Ellis, then built a strong multifamily investment-sales track record over four years at Sperry Van Ness. In 2010 he was recruited to NAI Capital, where he has earned top sales achievement awards, mentored top-performing junior brokers, and is a member of the NAI Global Multifamily Council — extending his clients' reach to a national network of qualified multifamily buyers. A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Kevin was elected President of the Greater Los Angeles CCIM Chapter in 2015. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial and investment real estate — an exclusive global network spanning North America and 30+ countries that closes thousands of transactions annually representing more than $200 billion in value. Kevin graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) — Marshall School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship. At USC he received the Ted Komula Business School Scholarship and earned membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Golden Key Honor Society; he was also a member of Delta Sigma Pi, the CAP mentoring program, and served on the executive board of the Trojan Real Estate Association. Kevin's market insight has been featured by CoStar News, the Los Angeles Business Journal's Commercial Real Estate Awards, Yield PRO, and RENTV.
